After the Typhoon

Now it´s after the typhoon,
The skys begins to clear,
The clouds are rolling steadly
Over the mountainside as
They begin to reappear.

The pavement at my feet
It covered with leaves that fall,
Ripped from the branches, dropped like rain,
Covering all so I can´t see the street al all.

I walk down the main street,
All of the neigbours are outsidetheir homes,
Talking ´bout the heavy rain,
And now a drop of rain falls dpwn from the telefone wire.

The station is alive again and trains begin to run,
The people wait, the trains are late,
But all will be on time before the day is done

I walk down the main street
All of the neigbours are outsidetheir homes,
Talking ´bout the heavy rain,
And now a drop of rain falls down from the telefone wire

Now it´s after the typhoon,
The skys begins to clear,
The clouds are rolling steadly
Over the mountainside as
They begin to reappear
We know the warmer weather is here.
