Medicine

Say you don’t like it, say you don’t like it
Say you don’t like my medicine
You’ve got a mean old touch
I got to see how much
I believe on high
Hell would set your soul on fire
You got your PLC
But you don’t own me
And in the limelight
Let me take you dancing yeah
Say you don’t like it, say you don’t like my medicine
Say you don’t like my medicine
Say you don’t like it, say you don’t like my medicine
My medicine
Hey I’m a nice guy
Well God indeed I try
I’ve got a benign touch
But I can only take so much
You got your company
You’re the VIP
But in the limelight
I can take you dancing yeah
Say you don’t like it, say you don’t like my medicine
Say you don’t like my medicine
Say you don’t like it, say you don’t like my medicine
My medicine
Say you don’t like it, say you don’t like it
Say you don’t like my medicine

Medicine - David Paton
The really good thing about song writing is that you can get all kinds of emotions off your chest just by writing about it. If something pleases you, you can write about it. It’s the same for something that causes pain and upset. Medicine is about an upset. I wrote this as the tables turned on a stressful situation.
The lesson is, always use your common sense when reacting to a situation, never react with ego, anger or stupidity.
