Quem viu nunca esqueceu.
Em 1977, Franco Zeffirelli apostou na sua versão de Jesus de Nazaré, desde então a história
da vida de Jesus tem um motivo a mais para ser revista, a luz e beleza do ator
que interpretou Jesus menino, Lorenzo Monet.
Muito se discute quanto à aparência de Jesus, seria ótimo se pudéssemos ter essa certeza
mas isso não é o mais importante dessa história, se Deus nos fez a sua imagem e semelhança
então seu filho tem todas as raças, todas as cores de pele e de olhos, fala todos os idiomas,
na verdade é o que acontece já que em todo canto da terra tem seus representantes
encenando sua trajetória terrestre, alguns se identificam com o personagem e parece
dar mais veracidade à história. Zefirelli foi muito feliz na escolha de Jesus menino
e adulto.
Depois de Robert Powell fica estranho assistir a vida de Cristo com outro ator,
ele que para o padrão do cinema nem é um homem bonito, criou uma aura de beleza
e brilho quando interpretou Jesus.
Quanto a Lorenzo então só lamentamos não mais tê-lo visto em outra atuação. Para as
pessoas as quais sua imagem se fixou na memória sempre ficou o vazio e a
vontade de saber onde ele anda, o que faz, como está,...
Na época eu não tinha vídeo e tirei fotos pela TV para guardar aquela imagem
pra sempre, felizmente 27 anos depois existe o DVD nas bancas de jornais pra quem
quer ter talvez a parte mais importante da Bíblia em casa e a pré adolescência de
Lorenzo congelada através do milagre da tecnologia para ser revista na prática já
que nunca se apagou da mente.
Procurei por informações sobre ele na Internet, essa mágica que realiza sonhos
que julgava perdidos e encontrei alguns emails; para minha felicidade ele retornou
a resposta à minha pergunta se ele era o Lorenzo do filme do Zefirelli:

Who saw never forgot.
In 1977, Franco Zeffirelli bet on his version of Jesus of Nazareth, since then history
of Jesus' life has one more reason to be reviewed, the light and beauty of the actor
who played the boy Jesus, Lorenzo Monet.
Much is discussed about the appearance of Jesus, it would be great if we could have that certainty
but this is not the most important part of this story, if God made us in his image and likeness
so your child has all races, all skin and eye colors, speaks all languages,
in fact it is what happens since in every corner of the earth has its representatives
staging his terrestrial trajectory, some identify with the character and it seems
give more truth to the story. Zefirelli was very happy to choose the boy Jesus
and adult.
After Robert Powell it is strange to watch the life of Christ with another actor,
he who for the cinema standard is not even a handsome man, created an aura of beauty
and brilliance when he interpreted Jesus.
As for Lorenzo then we are only sorry that I no longer saw him in another performance. To the
people whose image was fixed in memory always remained empty and the

forever, fortunately 27 years later there is the DVD on newsstands for those who
